Who We Are

Here at Girls Who Run the World, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact. We are a group of women who, in our day jobs, are teachers, Vice Presidents, counselors, and creative professionals. The core of our efforts is supporting recent female high school graduates in pursuit of a career or side hustle that contributes to the greater good of our society. Couldn't the world use more good? We think so. And we are looking for the next group of women who are going to make that happen.

What Embodies a Girls Who Run the World Candidate

ENVIRONMENTAL CHAMPIONS

At Dover Girls Who Run the World, we are passionate about supporting women who intend to address environmental issues locally and around the world. This could include women pursuing a degree in the environmental sciences or who want to start a charity or environmental group to improve the environment directly.

THE CREATIVES

You could be a budding artist, an aspiring musician, or someone who wants to use their creativity to spark change in the world. You intend to use your creative platforms to send positive and inspiring messages out into the world.

ROBYN HOODS

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for women looking to impact those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
